July 2011 - One Year Old!

Centre Kidz Preschool is 1 year old!!!
On June 28th we
had our first birthday, and to celebrate we had a fun fish and chip
night and disco for all our families. It was a great success, and
everyone had a wonderful time!
Working
at Centre Kidz has been such an amazing learning journey for us all.
We can’t believe that a year has gone by already! This time last year
when we shared about the love of God to our children, some of them had
no idea what we were talking about and who God was.
Now
the children understand that He is the creator of all things, He is our
healer, He is our friend, He loves us and thinks that we are very
special, He was born, therefore He was a child just like them, He died
and came back to life. They know that He is alive today and they can
talk to him, and that Jesus wants to be their friend.
Some
families have even told us that they are dusting off their bibles at
home because they want to understand what their children are talking
about when they come home excited about a story they heard from the
bible here!
God
is central to ALL we do at Centre Kidz. How we approach families and
their children on a daily basis is a reflection of Jesus in us. We
believe that God has given us the wisdom and the innovative ideas to
make us very unique in our community. The fruit of all our hard work is
reflected through the steady positive feedback that we have been
receiving from our local community and the wider community. Here are a few of the recent comments from our parents…

We
have also received glowing reports from the Ministry of Education who
are thoroughly impressed with the programme we are offering, and our
amazing facilities.
Tash
went to visit a local school this week and was warmly greeted by their
new entrant teacher. She has asked to spend a few hours at Centre Kidz
to see our programme in action due to a child from our Preschool
entering her classroom with perfect school readiness.
We
are very excited about what God is doing at Centre Kidz, and how He is
impacting our families and therefore impacting our community. This
Preschool was part of Pastor Don’s vision, and here we are at the end of
our first year already – we know he would be so proud of us all.
Bring on year 2!!!
